In WoW Classic's Season of Discovery, runes are items spread across the world that have passive effects when used in equipment slots. Mages, known for their destructive abilities, can now take on the role of healer thanks to the arrival of new Mage runes in Phase 2 of SoD. Here is a list of all the Mage runes available in World of Warcraft Season of Discovery.
List of All Mage Runes in WoW Classic SoD
Phase One introduced 12 Mage runes, while Phase Two added 7 more runes. Each rune offers unique effects and abilities. Here's a list of all Mage runes and their effects:
Chest Runes
Burnout
Effect: Increases your spell critical strike chance with all spells by 15%, but your non-periodic spell critical strikes now have an additional mana cost of 1% of your base mana.
Phase: 1
Enlightenment
Effect: You deal 10% more damage while you have more than 70% mana. While below 30% mana, 10% of your mana regeneration continues while casting.

Fingers of Frost
Effect: Gives your Chill effects a 15% chance to grant you the Fingers of Frost effect, treating your next 2 spells cast as if the target were Frozen.

Regeneration
Effect: Heals the target for 419 health over 3 sec and applies Temporal Beacon for 30 sec.

Hands Runes
Arcane Blast
Effect: Blasts the target with energy, dealing Arcane damage. Each cast increases the damage and healing of all other Arcane spells by 15%.

Ice Lance
Effect: Deals Frost damage to an enemy target. Causes triple damage against Frozen targets.
Phase: 1
Living Bomb
Effect: Turns the target into a Living Bomb, dealing Fire damage over time and exploding afterward.

Rewind Time
Effect: Instantly heals all damage taken by your current target with your Temporal Beacon over the last 5 seconds.

Legs Runes
Arcane Surge
Effect: Unleashes all of your remaining mana in a surge of energy focused at the target, dealing Arcane damage. Increases normal mana regeneration afterward.

Icy Veins
Effect: Hastens your spellcasting, increasing spell casting speed by 20% and reducing pushback suffered while casting.
Phase: 1
Living Flame
Effect: Summons a spellfire flame that deals Spellfire damage to nearby enemies.
Phase: 1
Mass Regeneration
Effect: Heals all party members within range over time and applies Temporal Beacon to each target.

Waist Runes
Frostfire Bolt
Effect: Launches a bolt of Frostfire at the enemy, causing Frostfire damage and slowing movement speed.
Phase: 2
Hot Streak
Effect: Instantly casts your next Pyroblast after landing two non-periodic Critical Hits using specified spells.
Phase: 2
Missile Barrage
Effect: Reduces the channeled duration and mana cost of your next Arcane Missiles spell.

Spellfrost Bolt
Effect: Launches a bolt of Spellfrost at the enemy, causing Spellfrost damage and slowing movement speed.

Feet Runes
Brain Freeze
Effect: Your Frost spells have a chance to cause your next specified spell to be instant cast and cost no mana.
Phase: 2
Chronostatic Preservation
Effect: Heals a friendly target for a substantial amount of HP, with the ability to store the effect for up to 15 seconds.
Phase: 2
Spell Power
Effect: Increases the critical damage bonus of all spells by 50%.
