Assassin's Creed: Mirage offers players a rich and immersive experience set in ancient Baghdad, filled with secrets, quests, and collectibles to uncover. One such collectible is Dervis' Artifacts, a set of 18 valuable items scattered throughout the game world. In this guide, we will explore the locations of these artifacts and provide tips on how to obtain them.

Finding the NPC for Dervis' Artifacts

The key to obtaining Dervis' Artifacts lies in locating the NPC named Dervis. Dervis is introduced during the game's prologue in the village of Anbar. You will encounter him once more as you progress through the first Investigation mission chain upon returning to the majestic city of Baghdad.

To meet Dervis again, head to the Dyeing Factory, situated in the northern part of the Harbiyah district, a bustling area of the city. This is where Dervis has set up shop, and he plays a crucial role in your quest to gather Dervis' Artifacts.

Locating Dervis' Artifacts

Dervis' Artifacts are scattered across Baghdad and its surroundings. To complete the Dervis' Artifacts side quests and reap the rewards, you'll need to locate these items:

  • Dervis' Artifacts are identified by a unique icon—a hand holding a coin.

  • Unlike some collectibles in the game, there are no maps available for Dervis' Artifacts. You'll need to rely on your exploration skills and campaign progress to find them.

  • Several methods can help you spot these valuable items:

    • Sync Points: Climbing atop sync points or fast travel locations will reveal nearby collectibles, including Dervis' Artifacts.

    • Eagle Vision: Using Eagle Vision will highlight collectibles within a wide radius, making it easier to spot them.

    • Enkidu: Deploy your eagle companion, Enkidu, to fly high above the city. Enkidu can spot glowing pillars of light, which are potential Dervis' Artifacts locations. Mark these locations as you fly, as some of them may contain the items you seek.

Obtaining Dervis' Artifacts

Once you identify the Dervis' Artifacts icon nearby, head to that location. You'll notice an NPC carrying the artifact in a pouch. To acquire it, you'll need to pickpocket the item.

The pickpocketing process involves approaching an NPC whose back is turned and timing your button press correctly. A moving triangle will appear, and you must press the button when it aligns with the glowing area. Successful pickpocketing results in you obtaining the item without alerting the NPC. Be cautious, as failure will lead to detection, and nearby guards may be summoned, increasing your Notoriety level.

Alternatively, you can enable the "Guaranteed Pickpocket" setting in the Gameplay Options panel. This eliminates the mini-game aspect, allowing you to automatically steal the item with a button press.

Rewards for Finding Dervis' Artifacts

While the rewards for collecting Dervis' Artifacts may not be extravagant, they are still valuable for your character's progression. When you hand over a collection of Artifacts to Dervis, you'll receive materials as a reward. The quantity of materials scales with the number of Artifacts you deliver, so consider gathering a significant number before returning them to Dervis.

Keep in mind that you can only turn in Artifacts in sets of three, six, and nine, with the quantity increasing each time you visit Dervis.

Upon collecting all 18 Dervis' Artifacts scattered throughout Baghdad, you'll also earn a trophy or achievement, depending on your platform, making it a worthwhile endeavor for completionists.
