With the release of FC 24, Electronic Arts has successfully managed to distinguish itself from the FIFA name while also retaining fan-favorite game modes and events. Apart from game modes like Clubs, Career Mode, and Ultimate Team, players also get access to promo events like Team Of The Year (TOTY) which typically happens around the end of each year. It celebrates the best-performing players who stood out from the crowd by boosting their stats and releasing them as a special player item in Ultimate Team. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming event.
When Will the TOTY Promo Event Launch in EA FC 24?
Although Electronic Arts has not yet made an official announcement regarding the exact launch date for TOTY, we can expect to see it go live during the 3rd week of January 2024. This is based on previous TOTY promos that were part of the FIFA games.
How Are TOTY Players Determined in EA FC 24?
This promo event highlights the best players of the year with the help of the entire EA FC community. Players of the game get a chance to vote for their favorite players using the official EA FC site or through the EA app.
This voting system will be open to players from early January and it usually lasts for a week until it closes down. For this year, we will be allowed to cast our votes possibly from 8th to 15th January. Here is the predicted release schedule for the entire event:

TOTY Selected Attackers List: 19th January
TOTY Selected Midfielders List: 22nd January
TOTY Selected Defenders and Goal Keepers List: 24th January
Complete TOTY: 26th January
Apart from the usual 11-man squad, we might also see the addition of a 12th player card where players get the chance to pick a football star who narrowly missed their spot on the roster. Considering the fact that this is also the first time in history that the game has seen the addition of female footballers in Ultimate Team, it is entirely possible to see them in TOTY.
