FIFA 23 fans are occupied with the Team of the Season (TOTS) promos but it looks like the Shapeshifters event is going to be even bigger. Shapeshifters made its debut in FIFA Ultimate Team 2020 and it looks like it is making a return this year. Here is a quick rundown of everything you need to know about the FIFA 23 Shapeshifters Promo.
FIFA 23 Shapeshifters Promo: What to expect
According to what has been teased so far, we know what the Shapeshifters card designs will look like. There will be an Icon card up for grabs as well as the Alternate Reality Icon item that has been doing the rounds in FIFA 23 leaks communities for a while.
Going by what we experienced in the previous Shapeshifters events, we saw players get moved to positions that they typically play in. We know of two cards so far, and we can expect more information about the other upcoming cards as we get closer to the release date.
The two cards that have been revealed so far are:
Thiago Silva (OVR 92) - ST - Season 7 Reward
Toni Kroos (OVR 97) - CDM - Season 7 Reward
The biggest changes you can expect in terms of stats are changes to weak foot ability, work rates, player positions and more. You can also expect a tweak to the basic stats to align with the players’ Shapeshifters positions.
According to datamined information, there are Premium versions of these cards available in the game as well but we have no official information regarding them just yet.

The event will release on 16th June at 1 PM ET/6 PM BST/10:30 PM IST.
