A lot of changes have been made to the game since Electronic Arts’s (EA) split with FIFA. Many new features have been added and omitted. However, the weekly excitement of the Team of the Week (TOTW) feature still prevails. It is a staple identity of the game that brings players together. 

These TOTW cards showcase standout players based on their performance in real time. While the excitement for these features comes from gauging the performances of beloved football stars, the set of cards also introduces fresh faces to a massive audience. The TOTW for this week has been revealed and we’ll take a look at it in this article. 

EA FC 24 Team of the Week 5 Revealed

Headlining the fifth set of TOTW cards within EA FC 24 is Liverpool's central defender Virgil van Dijk. Notable names in this week's EA FC 24 TOTW 5 also include Manchester United's attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes, Sassuolo's right-winger Domenico Berardi, and Olympique de Marseille's right-back Jonathan Clauss.

These cards will stick around for a week until they are switched with the next roster on 25th October 2023. Players can find these cards already through the EA FC 24 packs or purchase them in the transfer market. 

EA FC 24 Team of the Week 5 Squad

The lineup for the fifth week was revealed through a Twitter post by the official EA Sports FC page. It features several seasoned football players along with promising talent who can be trained to become the next football star. 

The TOTW 5 squad is as follows:

  1. Etrit Berisha (GK) – Empoli

  2. Robert Skov (LWB)  – Hoffenheim

  3. Megan Finnigan (CB) – Everton

  4. Virgil van Dijk (CB) – Liverpool

  5. Jonathan Clauss (RB) – Marseille

  6. Nicolas Otamendi (CB) – Benfica

  7. Ismail Yuksek (CDM) – Fenerbache

  8. Fredrik Aursnes (CM) – Benfica

  9. Lee Kang In (CAM) – PSG

  10. Bruno Fernandes (CAM) – Manchester United

  11. Megan Rapinoe (LM) – OL Reign

  12. Jesper Karlsson (LM) – Bologna

  13. Domenico Berardi (RW) – Sassuolo

  14. Dodi Lukebakio (RW) – Sevilla

  15. Harry Wilson (LW) – Fulham

  16. Georges Mikautadze (ST) – Ajax

  17. Miguel (ST) – Leganes

  18. Roland Sallaii (CF) – SC Freiburg

Team of the Week in EA FC 24 releases every Wednesday at 6 pm GMT/1 pm ET/10 am PT/7 pm CEST in Ultimate Team.

As a result, Team of the Week 5 will be available in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team for seven days before being swapped for the next one on 25th October.
