EA FC 24 announced the Premier League Player of the Month (POTM) for September 2023 following a round of voting.
Against cutthroat competition, the South Korean football star, Son Heung-min (Sonny), of Tottenham Hotspur, bagged the title. The community has been recording its love for Sonny, sharing heartwarming messages on Twitter.

EA FC 24 Premier League POTM September 2023
EA FC 24 took to Twitter to announce the winner and the player of the month for September 2023. Son Heung-min, also known as Sonny, has received much love from the community.
His competitors for the award were as follows:
Julian Alvarez (Manchester City)
Jarrod Bowen (West Ham)
Pedro Neto (Wolves)
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
Kieran Trippier (Newcastle)
Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa)
Notably, the South Korean player has been key in every one of Tottenham’s victories during the month. He has contributed a total of six goals as the team rose to the top of the Premier League.
After winning this title, Sonny will receive his own card in the game, with a rating of 89 in the striker position. Previously, the card had a rating of 87 as a left-winger. It has now seen a significant boost. Coincidentally, the player, James Maddison, who won the POTM award last month, is also from Tottenham Hotspur.
Many others believe that 89 is too low of a score for a player like Son Heung-min. They say that even though he is an exceptional player, a score like 89 is something that anyone could have. However, the majority of the fans do not seem to linger on that. They are happy to see the South Korean star shine brightly as the player of the month.
How to get the Sonny September 2023 POTM card?
Players can obtain this special Player of the Month after they complete a Squad Build Challenge (SBC), which contains six separate tasks. However, players need to note that it will cost around 710,000 coins to complete all the tasks. This situation can arise if players have to purchase the necessary cards available on the transfer market.
It is interesting to see two players from Tottenham Hotspur make it to the nominations of this category as well as bag the award for two consecutive months. We are waiting for the nominations of October 2023.
