EA FC 24 Bundesliga Player of the Month: October POTM Revealed

Continuing with the endless promo in Ultimate Team, EA Sports has scheduled content rolling in one after the other. From Team of the Week to the Centurions Promo, there is endless content for the players. EA Sports rolled out the nominees for the Bundesliga Player of the Month (POTM) award.

After a rigorous round of voting and anticipation, EA Sports has announced the Bundesliga Player of the Month for October 2023. 

The rising football star from Bayer Leverkusen, Florian Wirtz, has swooped the award and took home the EA FC 24 Bundesliga POTM for October 2023. This comes after Wirtz took Bayer Leverkusen on the path to victory by scoring a goal as well as assisting in two others during the season.

Bundesliga POTM Award Explained

Bundesliga said the POTM award was created by the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga in 2018/ 2019, in cooperation with the Bundesliga's official licensing partner, EA Sports. 

It added, "The award is decided through a two-stage selection process that considers both the players' individual performance data and a vote by fans and experts."

Notably, the October 2023 award was based on performances from Matchdays 7 to 9 of the season. 

Florian Wirtz Bags the POTM Award for October 2023

After assisting two goals and scoring one on his own, Wirtz took Bayer Leverkusen to victory, also bagging the Player of the Month title for October 2023. The official Bundesliga page took it to Twitter to make the announcement, letting fans know of the winner for this month. 

Standing against five other nominees, Florian Wirtz won the award, taking over the league this month. 

Bundesliga said, "With a goal and two assists, Florian Wirtz was bettered only by Jeremie Frimpong (four) in terms of goal involvements in the Werkself squad, and fired off his 10 goal attempts at a rate of one every 19 minutes - only Victor Boniface had more shots in the month (15) among Leverkusen players."
