The Winter Transformation of Fractured Peaks

For the Midwinter Blight event, the Fractured Peaks, famed for their sinister mood, will be converted into a snowy hellscape. Kyovashad, the central hub city, will serve as the main place for players to participate in the seasonal celebrations. They will meet Gillian, a bard on a quest to raise the spirits of the people. Players will trek through snowy regions, battling the demon's minions inhabiting this freezing terrain, after being sent into the Peaks to battle a new opponent known as the Red Cloak Horror.

The Red Cloak Horror, who resembles a demonic reindeer, will make occasional appearances in various world activities. Take down the Red Cloak Horror's henchmen, rescue citizens, and face waves of adversaries as the festive chaos unfolds in Kyovashad.

Midwinter Blight Rewards

Completing challenges and objectives will earn players prizes from the Red Cloak Horror's minions during the event. These trophies can be exchanged for a variety of gifts in Kyovashad, including backpacks, weapon skins, armour skins, gem fragments, a new seasonal aspect, and a special limited-time elixir that grants a 10% XP increase even outside of the Fractured Peaks.

Cosmetic items, such as festive bells, can be equipped via the Wardrobe menu, expanding players' visual customization possibilities.

With the Midwinter Blight event's formal launch date set for December 12, there is still much to learn. As the event progresses, players can expect a frenzy of information to be revealed, promising surprises and challenges that will keep the Diablo 4 community on the edge of their seats throughout the holiday season.
