Samsung's three new mobile devices are the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. These flagship devices boast top-notch specifications and sophisticated software, working together to enhance overall functionality.

A notable addition to the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is Galaxy AI, introducing features like circle-to-search, active language translation, note summarization, and advanced photo/video editing.

Regarding Galaxy AI, Aditya Babbar states, "We're entering a new era of mobile communication, transitioning to Galaxy AI at the core of Galaxy. We envision AI to be pervasive in how we communicate, create, and play."

Babbar highlights how Galaxy AI's active language translation breaks down communication barriers, enabling seamless interaction in various languages. He further explains Galaxy AI's role in text-related tasks, "Whether it's adapting the tone of messages or summarizing content, the device can handle these seamlessly."

The circle-to-search feature, an image-based search tool, is especially groundbreaking. Babbar elaborates, "This feature revolutionizes search by allowing visual queries across various platforms, from games to social media."

In terms of hardware, the series has seen significant enhancements, particularly in aspects critical to gaming and esports, like display quality, processing power, battery efficiency, and device cooling.

"Firstly, the display is the brightest ever in a Galaxy device, reaching 2600 nits," Babbar notes. He also mentions significant improvements in the MPU and GPU, as well as intelligent battery management enhancing gameplay experience.

Touching upon the upgraded cooling system used in the mobile device, Babbar says, "What we have focused very, very high is the entirely new vapor chamber design, which has been done to keep the device cool for those long hours of gaming. So those are some initial thoughts about the device, the way it is getting and panning out."

Going beyond just the hardware aspects of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series that are designed keeping the demands of gamers in mind. Babbar expands on the topic by talking about the Galaxy Gamer Program and the collaborations in place to further improve things by working with their partners .

"You know, over the years we have focused a lot on a program which we call Galaxy Gamer Program. As a large player in this industry, we have our ear on the ground, and we believe in meaningful innovation that is built on consumer VoC (Voice of the Customer). Now with the program what we get is a lot of real-life problems that users or gamers face," explains Babbar.

Talking about the Ray Tracing collaborations established by Samsung with its partners, Babbar said that those have changed, "You know that's where we have worked with the partner to bring a light how we can add value to the consumer and at the same time take the VoC from the consumer and build it."

Babbar says that all this has been done keeping the gaming community and user in mind. He showed confidence that what they have put out would be loved and adopted by the consumer, "I think S23 was one of the testimonies of that and we believe that the S24 would take it even further."

When asked about Samsung's plans in gaming or esports for the year ahead, Babbar remained tight-lipped but did give some positive hints by saying, "I would love to meet you in some time and share some more exciting plans, as of now I can say that today I will talk about S24, but please reserve this question for me, we will talk soon on that."

He also mentioned Samsung announcing the Season 1 of Play Galaxy which was being developed by a very different thought. "P stands for the preferred gaming device, L stands for leverage eco-system, A stands for always on, and Y stands for years ahead," remarks Babbar, before concluding the conversation.

The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will feature the Exynos 2400 chipset in the Indian market, while select global markets will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor variant. The Galaxy S24 Ultra, exclusively sporting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, stands as a premium option.
