VCT APAC Challengers One: Eight Teams Are Locked in for the Playoffs

Eight teams will compete at the VCT APAC Challengers One playoffs starting 24th March 2022.
The top two teams will earn spots at VCT Masters One along with prize money and Valorant Circuit Points for the 2022 season.
The grand final of the event is set to take place on 27th March in a best-of-five series.

With the Play-ins and Group stages of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Asia Pacific (APAC) Challengers One now over, eight teams remain in a bid to make it to VCT Masters One. The top two teams at the event will make it to the first Masters event of this year’s VCT circuit and the winning team will take home a bigger chunk of the prize pool and more VCT circuit points. The playoffs will commence on 24th March and the grand final will take place on 27th March.

VCT APAC Challengers One Challengers: Teams

Here are the eight teams that have qualified for the playoffs:

  • XERXIA - Thailand Challengers

  • Made in Thailand - Thailand Challengers

  • FULL SENSE - Thailand Challengers

  • South Built Esports - Philippines Challengers

  • BOOM Esports - Indonesia Challengers

  • Paper Rex - Malaysia and Singapore Challengers

  • Bleed Esports - Malaysia and Singapore Challengers

  • Persijia Esports - Indonesia Esports

The eight teams will compete in double-elimination brackets to make it to the grand final. Both finalists will secure a spot at Stage One Masters but the winner will receive more Valorant Circuit Points and a bigger share of the prize pool. All matches at the event will be decided in a best-of-three series with the grand final set to be a best-of-five matchup.

The total prize pool of the event has been set at $150,000 USD with the winning team set to receive $30,000 and the runner-up set to receive $20,000. The top two teams will also receive Valorant circuit points which could potentially earn them a spot at Valorant Champions 2022 in case they do not qualify for the world championships via Masters events.

The matches will be officially streamed on Twitch and YouTube. Official Valorant watch parties will also be hosted by popular content creators and community members. Watch parties will be announced by the respective content creators closer to the release date.
