Riot Games announced Valorant’s newest agent ‘Fade’ earlier this month and an official cinematic trailer was finally revealed during the grand final of Valorant Masters Reykjavik. The new trailer shows off Fade’s abilities which look like they can manipulate other players and control team fights. Fade is set to release on 26th April along with Valorant Episode 4 Act III ‘Disruption.’
Who is Fade in Valorant?
Very little is known about Fade currently. We got a glimpse of the agent’s abilities in the new cinematic trailer and she looks like she can uncover the darkest fears of anyone. We see some of our favorite agents get ensnared by her.
Neon’s biggest fear is her being unable to run, Sova fears losing his vision which would nullify his archery skills and Omen is afraid of being unmasked. We saw some of the other agents in a vulnerable state as Fade manipulated their minds. After releasing control over the agents’ minds, she revealed that compared to their fears, hers would eat them alive.
While Fade’s abilities are not officially confirmed. Valorant leaker “ValorLeaks” shared the agent’s alleged abilities on Twitter.
Prowler 300 credits (C): Send out a creature that can follow trails or be controlled by moving your mouse. Upon reaching an enemy, they will be Nearsighted for three seconds. Only one Creature per Trail.
Seize 200 credits (Q): Equip and Fire an Orb which will stay in the air for a max of 1.5 seconds, and then slam to the ground. When the orb hits the ground Enemies within the radius will be tethered, and will take damage and be deafened.
Haunt (E): Equip and Fire an Orb which will stay in the air and then hit the ground. Then it will go back into the air and turn into an eye. If Enemies get seen by the eye they will be revealed and a trail debuff is applied.
Nightfall (Ultimate): Send out a wave of dark mist. If the mist hits an enemy, they will be Deafened, Trailed, and Decayed.
Fade Valorant Release Date
Fade is expected to release on 26th April 2022 along with Valorant Episode 4 Act III. More details about the agent including a gameplay trailer will be available after the grand finals of Valorant Masters Reykjavik.
