Twitch streamer Jason "JasonR" Ruchelski has been accused of avoiding female Valorant players during his streams.
Cloud9's Annie Dro claimed on Twitter that over 50 women have been avoided by Ruchelski during his streams.
The streamer did not reveal why he avoids women and chose not to address the issue.

Twitch streamer Jason "JasonR" Ruchelski has been accused of avoiding female players in his Valorant lobbies. According to Cloud9's Annie Dro, Ruchelski has avoided playing with dozens of women by pretending that his stream keeps crashing. Dro also accused the streamer of making excuses whenever the topic is brought up instead of addressing the matter. Ruchelski is a former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional who transitioned to Valorant in 2021.

JasonR accepted that he bans viewers but denied sexism allegations

After Dro publicly accused Ruchelski, a thread was made on Reddit accusing the streamer of banning his Twitch subscribers for being female. He responded stating that he bans hundreds of people weekly from his stream including subs and does not specifically target women.

There are sexism allegations against him from various members of the Valorant community and Ruchelski has actively avoided talking about it. Even Sentinels IGL (In-Game-Leader) Shazeb “ShahZam” Khan also alleged that Ruchelski avoids playing with women. Clips have been posted of the streamer where he seemingly fakes stream crashes.

In 2018, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, who is one of the biggest content creators in the world, publicly stated that he does not play with female gamers since he did not want to feed unnecessary drama or clickbait content. His wife Jessica “Jghosty” Blevins said at the time that it was Blevins’ decision to keep the stream limited to male streaming partners only.

While Ruchelski may not have the same celebrity status as Ninja, he has a sizable follower count on Twitch. However, his decision to actively avoid talking about the issue or addressing the allegations has female Valorant players frustrated at his behavior and only fuels the sexism allegations.

Ruchelski was agitated by the recent drama and lashed out at his audience. When being told to stop disrespecting women, he said “How do I disrespect women? I don’t even talk to them. Sorry, I didn’t know that not interacting with them is disrespecting them.” He also said on Twitter that the same women preaching equality “are condoning hatred on my wife.”

In July 2018, when he was asked why he doesn’t have women in the chat, JasonR reportedly said, “Why are there no chicks in these streams? Because I f****** ban these hoes dude. People need to understand that every fucking girl on Twitch [is a] little fucking hoe.”
