Images of Valorant Mobile have leaked showcasing its touch controls and user interface.
The leaks have not been verified but Riot Games has confirmed that Valorant Mobile is in the works.
Currently there is no known release date but the betas have allegedly begun in China.

Valorant Mobile was confirmed to be in the works by Riot Games on 2nd June 2021. Since then the publisher has been quiet about the upcoming mobile version of its popular FPS title. Mobile gaming leaker Danny INTEL posted images of what seems to be Valorant Mobile. The leaked images showcase the game’s user interface and loading screen.

Valorant is being built from the ground up for mobile players

If the leaks are authentic, Valorant Mobile’s user interface is a complete overhaul of its PC version. The new user interface is optimized for touch controls and it looks like all agent abilities have been left intact. The leaked screenshot reveals that Jett, Phoenix, Reyna, Breach, Skye, Sova, and Killjoy are already available in the test version of the game. It is unknown if the other agents will be available at launch.

While the leaks look promising, there is no official word on when a test version of the game will be available. The leaker suggests that the game is already available for testing in China and that players are already getting to try out the game in its early stages.

Riot Games has successfully ported most of its games for mobile devices. Legends of Runeterra and Teamfight Tactics are playable on mobile with cross-play enabled while League of Legends’ mobile-exclusive version ‘Wild Rift’ has been built from scratch for touch controls. Valorant is the only Riot Games title that is not available on mobile devices yet.

Last year, Valorant Executive Producer Anna Donlon stated that one of the top goals of Riot Games, when Valorant launched, was to earn the trust and respect of the global FPS community and that it “will always uphold the fundamentals of a truly worthwhile competitive tac-shooter. To see our growing player community recognize and appreciate what we’re trying to do with Valorant is beyond what we could’ve expected and we’re thrilled to soon offer the same competitive Valorant experience to even more global players.”

While all of this is exciting news for Valorant fans across the globe., there is no official release date yet. With the betas allegedly going live in China, Riot Games may publicly announce a beta release in the near future for other regions.
