Valorant Game Changers 2022’s Series 3 event is set to kick off after the conclusion of Valorant Champions 2022 later this week. Game Changers will commence on 19th September and the event will go on until 2nd October, where the Series 3 Champions in all regions will be crowned. After Series 3, the world championship will take place in November, where the first-ever women’s Valorant champions will be crowned.
Valorant Game Changers Series 3 Overview
Series 1 broke records in terms of signups, and saw G2 Gozen take the crown once again, carrying its winning streak into 2022. GUILD X and TENSTAR Nova also earned podium finishes. With TENSTAR Nova being an unsigned team, the circuit proved that anyone can make it to the top if they deserve it.
Series 2 saw G2 steamroll its opponents to take the win, bringing its streak up to three victories in a row. The tournament also made it onto the main broadcast as a result of Series 1’s popularity, giving Valorant’s women a bigger platform. Series 3 might see G2’s streak continue and win yet another championship. Here are the details of the upcoming Series 3 event:
19th to 20th September: Over 100 teams will compete for slots in the double-elimination brackets via the qualifiers.
26th to 28th September: Teams will compete in the double elimination brackets to make it to the top 32 bracket.
29th to 30th September: The top eight teams from the top-32 bracket shall qualify for the finals weekend.
1st to 2nd October: The top three teams will be determined during the final weekend with only one team becoming the Stage 3 champions.
The winner will move onto the Game Changers World Tournament, alongside the team with the highest circuit points. There are two EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) slots up for grabs so teams from the region will be giving it their all.
