Valorant Episode 3 Act 2 is underway and it introduced the new Fracture map, which gives players more clues about the “mirrorverse” that the game’s lore is set in. Speculation and leaks for Valorant Episode 3 Act 3 are already doing the rounds and with players set to receive a new agent, the community is busy unlocking clues about the next Act. Unless Riot Games changes its release pattern for content, Valorant Episode 3 Act 3 should have at least one new agent when it drops later this year, along with a new season pass, cosmetics and more. Here is everything we know so far about Valorant Episode 3 Act 3.
Valorant Episode 3 Act 3: Riot Games to Release Two Agents?
Two agents have been leaked for Valorant Episode 3 Act 3, but it is unknown whether Riot Games will be releasing both agents in the same patch. Riot Games gave us a glimpse of “Deadeye” in the Year One Anthem trailer, which showed off an unknown agent with a sniper rifle.
Another agent, “Sprinter”, has been leaked but only the name of the agent is known so far. ValorLeaks revealed that it could just be a case of Riot Games messing around with dataminers by adding the name in the game’s code.
While Deadeye’s release is more concrete, with Riot Games teasing players on multiple occasions, Sprinter’s existence is debateable. However, if Sprinter is actually an agent, then there is a chance that for the first time since Valorant’s release, players will get access to two new agents in a single patch.
Yoru rework potentially delayed until Episode 3 Act 3
Yoru’s rework is also expected to drop sometime in the future. Riot Games had promised changes to the Japanese agent, but his rework has been pushed back indefinitely. After players shared their concerns on all of the delays that are affecting reworks along with other balance changes, Riot Games’ Coleman ‘Altombre’ Palm stated “We try to focus our changes in windows between competitive tournaments to avoid disrupting the pro scene, unless there's something really egregious going on; considering the stability we've been holding off on major gameplay changes during these tournaments.”
With Valorant Masters Berlin and the Last Chance Qualifiers for all regions lined up back-to-back till October, it is likely that Yoru’s rework will not be available until Valorant Episode 3 Act 3 in November.
Valorant Episode 3 Act 3: Release Date
Valorant Episode 3 Act 2 is set to end on 2nd November 2021 according to the current battle pass. Valorant Episode 3 Act 3 should commence around the same date. Players should keep an eye out for more info from Riot Games as we get closer to early November.
