Highlights
Valorant Champions Day 7 ended with Team Secret, X10 Esports and Cloud9 Blue making it to the playoffs.
X10 pulled off a shocker after taking Team Envy out of the competition with a 2-1 victory.
Team Secret handily defeated its Brazilian opposition Team Vikings to qualify into the top eight.

The group stage of the Valorant Champions event has come to an end with two Southeast Asian teams making it to the playoffs. In addition to X10 Esports and Team Secret representing Southeast Asia, we have four teams from EMEA (Europe, Middle-East and Africa), one from LATAM (Latin America), and one from NA (North America). After seven days of action, some of the biggest names in the competition like Sentinels and Team Envy have been eliminated and we may see one of the underdogs lift the first-ever Valorant world championship.

X10 Esports vs Team Envy Recap (X10 Esports won 2-1)

X10 Esports shocked everyone by eliminating Team Envy from the competition with a tense 2-1 victory. The third and final game between the teams lasted 26 rounds and X10’s Panyawat “sushiboys” Subsiriroj gave his team the edge it needed to defeat the NA heavyweights.

Team Secret vs Team Vikings (Team Secret won 2-0)

While the X10 vs Envy matchup was incredibly close, the Team Secret vs Team Vikings matchup was a more one-sided affair. Team Secret’s new roster features Bren Esports players who had an uneventful Stage 3. The team had qualified for Masters Berlin but was not able to compete due to travel issues.

Cloud9 Blue vs Vision Strikers (Cloud9 Blue won 2-1)

Cloud9 (C9) Blue is the only North American seed to still remain in the competition. C9 knocked out South Korea’s only seed Vision Strikers to make it to the top eight. It was a nail-biter up until the very end with the last match on Breeze going all the way to 13-11 in C9’s favor.

With just eight teams left in the competition, there will be no more second chances and a loss in any of the upcoming matches will mean elimination for the participating teams.
