Valorant Champions Day 2 Recap: Gambit Esports vs Team Secret (Gambit Esports won 2-1)

Map 1 - Icebox (Team Secret won 13-6)

On the very first map, Gambit Esports was unable to keep up with the pressure applied by Team Secret. The Southeast Asian team managed to secure a shocking 13-6 victory which took fans by surprise. Gambit Esports is one of the best teams at the event and it was unexpected that it would suffer such a one-sided defeat.

Map 2 - Breeze (Gambit won 13-0)

After losing 13-6 in the first map, Gambit Esports looked like a completely different team. The Stage 3 champions humiliated Team Secret with a 13-0 scoreline as Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin, Nikita "d3ffo" Sudakovand Timofey "Chronicle" Khromov took charge for the side. Gambit refused to give an inch and earned a 13-0 victory against Team Secret.

Map 3 - Bind (Gambit won 13-6)

Bind was a repeat of the match on Icebox, except that the tables were turned in Gambit’s favor. After suffering a 13-6 defeat on Icebox, Gambit returned the favor with a 13-6 win of their own on Bind and sent Team Secret to the elimination round.
