Japan is busy celebrating the arrival of the VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo and has arranged for a countdown event to take place from 1st to 10th June.
On the opening day, the Tokyo Tower was lit up in purple color while a fleet of drones came together to form the VCT logo.
Many other activities have been planned out involving gaming streamers, creators, and players from the region.

Japan is excited and very much looking forward to hosting the upcoming VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo, which will be the first-ever international Valorant tournament to be held in the land of the rising sun.

To celebrate this occasion, Tokyo Tower, one of the most iconic landmarks in Japan was lit up in purple color from top to bottom, mimicking the color theme of Masters Tokyo.

This event was called the 'Tokyo Tower Light-Up Ceremony' and marked the start of a ten-day countdown leading up to the competition. It was the first of ten activities planned which will be taking place from from 1st to 10th June.

Yesterday on 1st June, Japan celebrated a milestone for the country's esports scene by welcoming the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023 Masters Tokyo through a beautiful gesture by lighting the Tokyo Tower in purple color. Along with this, a fleet of drones was also used to create the VCT logo right beside the esteemed landmark.

This wonderful display together created a mesmerizing atmosphere that captivated the interest of many irrespective of whether they were a fan of the game or not.

This was just the opening act of multiple countdown events which have been planned to take place at the RED° TOKYO TOWER, an amusement center that is described by many as one of the largest esports parks in the country.

In the coming days leading up to the event's start on 11th June, many other activities will be held in partnership with popular streamers and content creators. It will be open to all Valorant players who stand a chance to win lots of swag items and meet their favorite personalities from the regional scene.

This just goes on to show the level of excitement and appreciation that the Japanese esports community has towards the VCT 2023 Masters Valorant and what it means for the future of this game in the country.
