Bollywood star Tiger Shroff (best known for his action films) has invested in Revenant Esports. Revenant Esports is an emerging esports team in India that has been rapidly expanding its presence in the industry. The organization currently boasts esports lineups in popular games such as Brawl Stars, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Valorant, Pokémon Unite, and Call of Duty Mobile.

Tiger Shroff's Investment in Revenant Esports Marks Bollywood's Entry into Esports

Rohit Jagasia, the CEO and Founder of Revenant Esports, expressed his excitement and warm welcome to Tiger Shroff as he joins their organization. Jagasia acknowledged Shroff's well-known passion for gaming, which resonates strongly with the millennial and Gen Z audience. “In Revenant, he has the perfect platform to be more actively involved with the Indian gaming community. The entertainment industry starting to set foot in the world of gaming is massively beneficial to the industry as it helps spread awareness about its potential and importance among the not-so-informed Indian population. Tiger's massive fanbase and his zeal for gaming will accelerate our vision of creating an enriching and engaging ecosystem for our organization as well as for the Esports community as a whole," he said.

Tiger Shroff, known for his strong enthusiasm for fitness, games, and MMA, is also an avid esports enthusiast. He has actively demonstrated his love for gaming through various gaming activities in the past. Shroff expressed his delight in joining Revenant Esports, recognizing it as one of the prominent names in the Indian esports landscape. “They have achieved commendable success in such a short span and with the gaming and esports revolution taking the country by storm I am confident that Rohit’s and my passion, knowledge, and vision will help us to achieve remarkable success and experience. Being an ardent gamer myself and having followed the industry closely, I also hope to use this association as a launchpad to more meaningful growth in the sector,” he said.

Tiger Shroff's investment in Revenant Esports not only bolsters the organization's prospects but also raises questions about the potential involvement of other prominent names from the Bollywood and entertainment industry in the world of esports.

Recently, Revenant Esports CEO Rohit Jagasia highlighted the importance of diversification and the need for businesses to be indispensable regardless of one client or game, like BGMI. Jagasia discuss the importance of diversification in the context of the withdrawal of Battleground's Mobile India (BGMI). They agree that businesses should not rely solely on one client or game. Jagasia explained how Revenant Esports benefited from diversification as it had squads in multiple game titles, including Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM), which helped them survive when BGMI was removed.
