Animesh “Thug” Agarwal, co-owner of S8UL Esports, recently spoke about S8UL Esports’ future plans for the organization’s expansion in different esports titles. He stated that the organization does not plan to acquire any new lineup in any title, including Call of Duty Mobile (CODM), Brawl Stars, FIFA, and Valorant. Following this, he also elaborated on the reason why the organization is not considering hiring lineups for these titles.
S8UL Esports to not sign any more esports rosters
GodLike Esports and Team Vitality are two of the most prominent esports teams in the CODM esports ecosystem in India. Recently, these two teams fought against other teams from across the country and qualified for the COD Mobile World Championship 2022, which was played in a LAN setting in Raleigh, North Carolina in the United States of America (USA)
During Thug’s recent livestream, one of his viewers asked him if S8UL Esports had planned to sign any new lineup. Responding to this, Thug instantly denied it.
Explaining the reason behind not signing any new lineup, Thug said, “I think, in CODM, India is very limited to what GodLike Esports and Team Vitality has to offer. To be honest, it makes no sense to enter CODM because they hold India’s two best lineups,” said Thug. Following this, Thug talked about Brawl Stars. “After that, there is Brawl Stars, but there isn’t much of it in India. There is one lineup, which was under Stalwart Esports previously, but now it’s a free agent. I think it is apparently the best lineup in India. There is no commitment from Brawl Stars, and it is hard to predict what will happen in the future.
GodLike Esports has signed two Indian players, Saransh Jain and Charanjot Singh, to compete in FIFA esports. Saransh and Charanjot have both represented India in the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022. Thug praised the two new additions to GodLike Esports, stating that Saransh is the best player he has ever seen and Charanjot is also very skilled, and explained that it was unlikely for S8UL to enter this division.
Another viewer asked Thug what are the organization’s plans with Valorant esports. Responding to it, Thug straight up denied any plans of S8UL’s entry into the title.
S8UL Esports recently won the prestigious “Content Group of the Year” award at the Esports Awards 2022. In his acceptance speech, Thug stated that S8UL Esports plans to expand beyond the borders of India in 2023. It will be exciting to see what the future holds for S8UL Esports.
