TheDoctorr has announced his departure from Enigma Gaming within a month of its new Valorant lineup being announced.
TheDoctorr has publicly stated that he is currently available and searching for a new organization.
No official statement on the situation has been made by Enigma Gaming.

Indian esports organization Enigma Gaming had announced its new Valorant lineup for the 2023 competitive season earlier this month on 3rd February. It had turned over a new leaf by stepping away from the South Asian scene and entering the Southeast Asian region, particularly Malaysia and Singapore.

The team put up a solid performance at the VCL 2023: Malaysia & Singapore Split 1 by qualifying for the Playoffs after leading the Group Stage. Unfortunately, even after the positive results the community was shocked to learn about the departure of Mathanraj "theDoctorr" Munisparan, one of the senior members of the team.

In a conversation with AFK Gaming, theDoctorr shared that it was a team decision to bench him from the active roster and that he was shocked to hear about the news. He has further requested Enigma Gaming for his contract to be terminated at the end of February 2023 and that he can not speak more about the situation at this point in time.

At the time of writing this article, no statement on the matter has been made by Enigma Gaming.

TheDoctorr has parted ways with Enigma Gaming and is currently searching for a new organization

Former Valorant coach for Orangutan, theDoctorr, had made his comeback as a player with Enigma Gaming earlier this month. He was competing in the ongoing VCL 2023: Malaysia & Singapore Split 1 along with the new lineup that the Indian organization had assembled.

Enigma Gaming started its journey in Southeast Asia with a loss against Louvre during the Group Stage but came back strong, winning all its remaining six matches to top the overall table and qualify as the top seeds for the Playoffs.

During this journey, theDoctorr played the first five matches for Enigma Gaming and was replaced with Ayrton "artn" Soh for the last two. This came as a bit of a surprise because artn has not officially been signed by the organization but has been listed as its substitute player for the tournament.

Having played his last match as part of Enigma Gaming's active roster on 18th February against X10 Esports, theDoctorr made a public announcement earlier today on 27th February that "due to some unforeseen circumstances, I am once again available."

Having expressed shock on his sudden departure from the team's active roster, theDoctorr in a statement to AFK Gaming said "I'm seeing things from a positive light. Winning the Ascension League is my goal this year and I will do whatever it takes to achieve it. To those who have supported me, I see each and every one of you and I will not let you down."

No official statement about the player's departure from the team has been announced by Enigma Gaming. If theDoctorr is actually dropped from the roster, a new player would have to be signed and it would most likely be the Singaporean player, artn.

Enigma Gaming is scheduled to play its next match on 8th March against Todak in the Upper Bracket Semifinals of the ongoing VCL 2023: Malaysia & Singapore Split 1.
