The Esports Club Rise of Legion APAC South Season 1 - Group Stage Results
The Group Stage of The Esports Club’s (TEC) Rise of Legion Apex Legends event has come to a close with Apex Legends Playoffs Series champion Reignite securing first place. The team is closely followed by Revenant Esports, a team that shocked everyone and took the lead on day one with a massive 82 points in the bank. The finals of the event will take place on 24th and 25th June 2022 with the top 20 teams from the group stage competing for a prize pool of $10,000 USD.

Rise of Legion APAC South: Finals Preview
The Rise of Legion APAC (Asia Pacific) South Event by The Esports Club is taking place in three phases. The South Asian Qualifiers saw teams from Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka compete for slots in the group stage.
In the Group Stage, we saw 15 invited teams from Asia Pacific, including ALGS Playoffs champion Reignite compete along with 15 teams who qualified via the South Asia qualifiers. The top 20 teams are now headed to the finals which will take place on 24th and 25th June 2022 at 4 PM SGT.
Reignite and Revenant Esports are the two teams to keep an eye on at the finals. While Reignite is the number one team in the world right now, Revenant Esports is a dark horse that impressed everyone at the ALGS playoffs earlier this year. APAC South as a region was not well known outside of Asia but teams have proven themselves at the international stage and shown that the APAC region is among the strongest regions in the world right now.

TEC's Rise of Legion Apex Legends tournament will be broadcast on The Esports Club's official YouTube channel. Fans can tune into the grand finals on 24th and 25th June.
Since Apex Legends is a battle royale, the format is very different from other FPS titles. Teams compete in a set of matches and earn points based on their placements in a game along with the number of kills they secure. Teams with the highest score at the end of two days of action will emerge as the champions.
