The Esports Club Announces the Valorant TEC Challenger Series

Highlights
The Valorant TEC Challenger Series will start on 29th September and will end on 13th October 2022.
The series will feature a massive prize pool of $30,000 USD.
Registration for SA Qualifiers has already started on the official website of The Esports Club.

Since the launch of Valorant, the game has become one of the most prominent esports titles in India. A large number of tournaments for the game take place every year, giving a chance to all the players to compete against the best players across the country. Amongst these tournaments is the TEC (The Esports Club) Challenger Series. The TEC Challenger Series is one of the largest upcoming Valorant championships that will feature the best teams from the South-East Asian region.

Valorant TEC Challenger Series Format

TEC Challenger Series will feature two simultaneous qualifiers, South Asia (SA) Qualifier and South East Asia (SEA) Qualifier. The top 4 teams from the SA Qualifiers will advance to the Group Stage, whereas the top two teams from the SEA Qualifiers along with two invited teams will advance to the Group Stage.

The eight teams will fight against each other in a single round-robin format. The top four teams from the Group Stage will advance to the Playoffs. The teams will then compete against each other in the Single-Elimination bracket in a best-of-five series. The results of the Grand Finals of the Playoffs will decide the winner of the series.

Prize Pool

The series features a massive prize pool of $30,000 USD. The winner will get the lion’s share of $17,000 and the runner-up will get $7,000. Third and fourth place finishes will get $3,000. Furthermore, the top eight teams that qualify from the SEA and SA Qualifiers will get $500 each.

Schedule

The SA Qualifiers will commence on 29th September and end on 3rd October. On the other hand, the Closed SEA Qualifiers will commence on 30th September and end on 3rd October. Following a day of rest, the Group Stage will start on 5th October and go on till 10th October.

Starting on 11th October, the top four teams will compete in the Playoffs, with the tournament's conclusion taking place on 13th October.

Registration

Registration for SA Qualifiers has already started on the official website of The Esports Club. Teams can register for it by visiting the official website and filling out the SA Qualifiers form. On the other hand, Closed SEA Qualifiers won't be directly accessible to the general public.

Along with the massive prize pool, the Valorant TEC Challenger Series also brings a great opportunity for all the Valorant teams to showcase their talent against the best teams from the SEA and SA regions.
