One of the top regional tournament organizers from India, The Esports Club (TEC) has announced the return of its top Valorant tournament, TEC Challenger Series 2023, an official VCT OFF//SEASON event.

It is scheduled to take place from 28th September to 12th October featuring a total prize pool of INR 15,00,000 and will only comprise of competitors from the South Asian region.

The eligible countries for this tournament are as follows India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Maldives, Bhutan, Sierra Leone, and Afghanistan, which means no teams from Southeast Asia or other regions will be participating in this competition.

TEC Challenger Series 2023 Announced as Official VCT OFF//SEASON Tournament

The VCT OFF//SEASON is about to start for the South Asian region from 28th September onwards. It will be taking place in three different stages, starting with Online Qualifiers, followed by Group Stage, and then the Playoffs.


TEC Challenger Series 2023: Dates and Schedule

The Valorant tournament is scheduled to take place from 28th September to 12th October, featuring a blend of direct invites and teams making their way through online qualifiers.

  • Registration Dates: 24th to 27th September, 16:00 IST

  • Online Qualifier: 28th September to 1st October

  • Group Stage: 4th to 8th October

  • Playoffs: 9th to 12th October


TEC Challenger Series 2023: Format

Online Qualifier

  • Any team can register for the Online Qualifier but all players must reside in South Asia. If any member is found to be from outside South Asia then the entire team would be disqualified immediately.

  • Only the top four teams will qualify to the Group Stage and other teams will make their way back home.

Group Stage

  • The four qualified teams will be joining eight other direct invites who are yet to be announced.

  • All teams will be split in multiple groups and the top four teams will move ahead to the Playoffs.

Playoffs

  • The four teams that qualify for the Playoffs will take on each other in a double-elimination format.

  • The team that remains standing at the end will be crowned as the champion.


TEC Challenger Series 2023: Registration Details

All teams that are interested in competing can go ahead and register themselves for the open qualifier of this tournament between 24th and 27th September, till 16:00 IST.

So all those who think they have what it takes to compete at the top level against the best teams from across South Asia should hurry up and sign up.

The open qualifier is all set to take place from 28th September and will be running till 1st October. The top four teams get a chance to qualify for the group stage, so make sure to give it your best shot.


TEC Challenger Series 2023: Prize Pool

The tournament features a total prize pool of INR 15,00,000 which will be split between the top four teams, basically all participants that manage to reach the Playoffs.

  • 1st Place: INR 7,00,000

  • 2nd Place: INR 5,00,000

  • 3rd Place: INR 2,00,000

  • 4th Place: INR 1,00,000
