Right after NODWIN Loco All Stars Invitational brought Indian esports back to LAN after more than two years with its BGMI tournament, Skyesports has come forward to deliver a similar experience to all Indian Valorant fans with AMD Skyesports Souvenir Mumbai 2022.

This will be India's first-ever Valorant tournament which will be played on LAN since the game's global release in June 2020. It is all set to take place in Mumbai from 30^th April to 3^rd May with the venue being opened to a limited live audience. A total of four teams will be participating in this tournament which features a total prize pool of $11,500 USD (INR 8,80,018).

AMD Skyesports Souvenir Mumbai 2022 - VALORANT LAN event complete details

Following the success of the first-ever offline BGMI tournament, Skyesports has announced the first Indian VALORANT tournament which will be taking place on LAN in Mumbai.

Skyesports Souvenir Mumbai 2022 will be open to the public in limited attendance and is the first such tournament in a chain of similar LAN events planned to take place across Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and more.

With both Indian and Pakistani teams taking part in this event, it is being hyped by the South Asian audience which has been longing to see the best teams from the region fight it out in a LAN environment.

Teams

The four Valorant teams competing in this tournament are,

• Velocity Gaming - Direct Invite

• Global Esports - Direct Invite

• Enigma Gaming - Skyesports Grand Slam Phase 1 (Winners)

• Team Snakes - Skyesports Grand Slam Phase 1 (Runners-up)

Two of the best Valorant teams from South Asia, Velocity Gaming and Global Esports have been handed direct invites, as viewers finally get to witness the fan-favourite Ganesh "SkRossi" Gangadhar compete on LAN.

The other two teams, Enigma Gaming and Team Snakes have made it to the tournament following their outstanding performances at Skyesports Grand Slam - Phase 1 which took place in March earlier this year.

Schedule and Format

AMD Skyesports Souvenir Mumbai 2022 is set to take place from 30^th April to 3^rd May. The event is divided into a group stage followed by the grand final, along with an additional streamers showdown.

The first part will witness all the four teams go up against each other in a round-robin format where all matches will be a BO3 series. The top two teams from this stage will advance to the five-game grand final.

A total of seven matches will be played in this tournament, six matches taking place as part of the group stage and one final match in the grand final.
