India-based tournament organizer Skyesports has partnered with Riot Games for the Skyesports Champions Series (SCS) 2022 which shall serve as the gateway to the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) for South Asian teams. Skyesports Championship Series 2022 Overview

In Stage One of the VCT, NODWIN Gaming’s Valorant Conquerors Championship was the official event for making it to the APAC (Asia Pacific) Challengers. India’s Velocity Gaming and Global Esports qualified via the event but both teams failed to secure a qualification spot for the ongoing Valorant Masters Reykjavik event. In Stage Two, SCS 2022 will serve as the gateway event for APAC Challengers Stage Two. It will offer South Asia a second chance to make it to a Masters event for the first time.

Commenting on this tournament, Shiva Nandy, the CEO and Founder of Skyesports, said, “We are thrilled to be a part of VALORANT’s tremendous growth in South Asia and are beyond excited to be providing a path to the teams into the VCT APAC Challenger Stage 2. The Skyesports Champions Series will set a new benchmark for VALORANT esports in South Asia with top-notch production and live streams in several regional languages.”
