Sentinels IGL (In-Game Leader) Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan revealed that his team will be heading to Berlin for scrims ahead of Valorant Champions.
The team won Stage 1 and Stage 2 Masters but European team Gambit Esports took home the win at Masters (Stage 3) Berlin.
Four Last Chance Qualifiers are pending, after which the remaining teams shall be finalized for Valorant Champions.

Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan feels that practicing in Europe is more productive than practicing in North America. Sentinels will be moving to Berlin about ten days before Valorant Champions to practice and scrim ahead of the world championships. ShahZam has been instrumental as an in-game leader (IGL) for Sentinels’ success in the Valorant Champions Tour.

The North American team managed to secure dominant victories in the Stage 1 and 2 Masters events but it fell short in Valorant Masters Berlin (Stage 3) with Team Envy knocking Sentinels out of the event. Despite the recent loss at Berlin, Sentinels is still one of the strongest contenders for this year’s Valorant world championship.

Sentinels will be returning to Berlin for Valorant Champions

Currently, top teams that have not already qualified for Valorant Champions will be participating in the Last Chance Qualifiers. Sentinels has already qualified for Valorant Champions and the team will be returning to Berlin, which is where the world championships will take place. European teams put on a strong show in Masters 3 with Gambit Esports taking home first-place.

For the majority of 2021, Sentinels were pretty much unmatched at a global level but the competition grew to become extremely fierce further on. ShahZam feels that “practice in Europe is way more productive” and the team will be participating in scrims from Berlin later on this year.

Before heading to the previous Masters event, he talked about how Europe has more good teams than NA and how Berlin was not going to be easy. That did indeed turn out to be the case as Gambit Esports dominated the event and on another front G2 Esports shocked everyone with a victory over Sentinels in a rematch during the group stages.

Valorant Champions will kick off on 2nd December, 2021 and the grand finals will take place on 12th December, 2021. With the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) events still underway, the format is yet to be finalized for the world championships. Asia-Pacific, South America, North America and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) LCQ events shall finalize the last four teams that will be heading into the event.

ShahZam and his teammates will be looking to secure a win at the upcoming event and become the first squad to take home the Valorant World Championship.
