Popular Indian content creator and esports athlete Tanmay “Scout” Singh recently picked his idols and role models in esports and streaming. Scout was asked to pick between Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek or Tarik “tarik” Celik, but he did not pick either. Instead, he explained that he aspired to be like Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV, popularly known as Dr DisRespect, in terms of streaming, and like Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev as an esports player.
Scout aspires to be like Dr DisRespect in streaming and s1mple in esports
In a recent livestream, a viewer asked Scout whether he would want to be like Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek or Tarik “tarik” Celik. Responding to this, Scout expressed that he wanted to be neither like Shroud nor tarik, but like Dr DisRespect and s1mple.
“Shroud is a very great inspiration for me, but for me, it is like I want to be like s1mple in my esports and Dr DisRespect in streaming. That’s what I believe,” he added.
Scout explained that it is not easy to be a steamer like Dr DisRespect and stated that creators couldn’t simply try to shout like him and become him. “You need to have that vibe, you need to have that professionalism, you need to have that aura to be like him,” he said.
He stated that content creators these days create anything they want, do whatever they want, and call it content. “Sometimes, show anyone’s livestream to someone who does not watch streams and ask them if they would like that person. They will instantly reject it. You need to be original; you need to be creative,” he added.
Shroud, tarik, Dr DisRespect, and s1mple are all well-known figures in the gaming world and each of them have made a name for themselves through their unique skill sets and personalities. While Shroud and tarik made their mark as former professional CSGO players and popular Twitch streamers, Dr DisRespect gained fame for his flamboyant persona and s1mple is widely recognized as one of the best CSGO players in the world. Their contributions to the gaming community have earned them a dedicated following and a place in the history of esports.
