One of India's most prominent esports organizations S8UL Esports has announced that it is entering the Valorant esports scene, once again. In a recent tweet, the organization's co-owner, Lokesh "Goldy" Jain, stated that the organization would enter the Valorant scene with "the biggest banger the world can imagine." This statement and the organization's entry into Valorant esports have surprised fans and pro players alike. The co-owners and the organization itself have remained tight-lipped about the details, leaving fans eagerly anticipating more information.

S8UL Esports to reenter Valorant esports with a "banger"

It is not the first time S8UL Esports has entered Valorant esports. In March 2021, the organization announced that it had signed a new Valorant roster featuring the former Innocent 5 roster and former player of Paratroops Mithul "Binks" Nayak. However, the roster failed to meet expectations and was released just after a couple of months.

Since then, S8UL Esports fans have been urging the organization to reenterValorant esports. The organization's co-owners, Animesh "Thug" Agarwal, Naman "MortaL" Mathur, and Goldy, and manager Siddhant "Sid" Joshi have had multiple fans asking the team to sign a Valorant roster in their livestreams. In October 2022, Sid revealed that the organization had been looking into signing a Valorant roster for a long time but could not find players or teams "good enough"  to sign. In December 2022, while replying to a tweet, Thug claimed that S8UL Esports would not sign Valorant roster in the near future. In contrast to Thug's claim, the organization is finally reentering Valorant esports.

Goldy confirms S8UL Esports is not collaborating with Velocity Gaming for Valorant

S8UL Esports and Velocity Gaming have a good relationship. Recently, both organizations collaborated for a Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) Roleplay (RP) server called SOULCITY. Responding to Goldy's announcement tweet, a viewer asked if the roster was a collaboration between both organizations. In response, Goldy clarified that both organizations are not collaborating.

S8UL Esports' reentry into Valorant esports was anticipated by the entire Indian Valorant community. The organization currently boasts top-notch rosters in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Pokemon Unite, and New State Mobile. It has been one of the top performers in multiple mobile titles in the last few years. With a new Valorant roster, the organization will expect to replicate the same success in PC esports as well. It will be exciting to see how the organization performs in the domestic league and Valorant Champions Tour 2023 (VCT 2023), Ascension.
