Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story was leaked via the South Korean Game Ratings Committee.
The game is yet to be officially announced and there is no official release date yet.
Song of Nunu and Convergence are two other single-player games that have been officially announced.

Riot Games is working on multiple single-player and multiplayer games as we speak including a fighting game, an MMORPG, and possibly three roleplaying games (RPGs). Song of Nunu and Convergence were already announced as the two upcoming single-player titles but there seems to be a third announced project that features Sylas and it is coming “soon” to PC and console.

What to expect from Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story

If the Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is anything to go by, it looks like Riot Games is planning to cover some of the biggest events of Runeterra lore through the “League of Legends story” series. Song of Nunu and Mageseeker are also a part of the same franchise but they tell stories for different regions.

Ruined King covered the Ruination storyline while Song of Nunu is supposed to cover Frejlordian lore. We also had a spinoff sidescroller game Hextech Mayhem that showed Ziggs and Heimerdinger but it was light on the lore front. Mageseeker on the other hand will show Sylas’ perspective of his fight for Demacia.

The game was leaked by the South Korean Games Rating Committee. We expect Mageseeker to follow the story of Sylas the Unshackled, a Demacian citizen who worked with the Mageseekers. But he was betrayed by the Mageseekers who imprisoned him. Eventually, he broke out of prison and now leads a band of allies who are willing to dethrone the Demacians and take control.

Demacia is also home to some of the most iconic champions like Lux and Garen. We do not know the premise of the Mageseeker story but we could either experience Sylas’ journey of growing up in a poor family and his eventual freedom after being imprisoned. Or we could see Sylas’ present campaign against Demacia with his troops.

Ruined King was an all-around solid RPG with an 89% positive rating on Steam. If Riot Forge maintains the same quality, Mageseeker could be yet another solid RPG from the studio. Song of Nunu which was announced before Mageseeker is likely to be the second game of the series after which Mageseeker will join as the third installment in the “League of Legends story” lineup.
