Riot Games will also be hosting additional events to celebrate Pride Month until August 2022.

Pride month is here and Riot Games wants to celebrate it through eight new player cards and a gun buddy in Valorant. All of the cosmetics are available as part of a single bundle for free and you can get them in the shop throughout June 2022. Valorant is not the only game where Riot is adding cosmetics. Players who log in to League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, Wild Rift and Legends of Runeterra will all get to obtain cosmetics that celebrate pride month.

Riot Games started celebrating pride month back in 2018

Riot revealed in a blog post, “Pride is a time to come together, celebrate LGBTQIA+ communities, recognize the progress we’ve made, and continue working toward creating inclusive spaces for all people.”

In 2018, Riot Games introduced the Rainbow Fluft giving queer players a permanent representation of their identities while they play. Over the years, Riot Games’ collection of cosmetics has grown, with new icons, emotes, and artwork to represent more and more unique identities.

All Riot Games titles are celebrating pride month and most of the special content is already available and all limited-time items will be available until the end of June. The new pride cards are meant to offer support to the LGBTQIA+ community. They will not be available in the new battle pass or in-game. There will be eight cards for players to claim and each of the cards represents a flag from the LGBTQIA+ community.

The cosmetics can be obtained from the in-game store in Valorant for 0 Valorant Points. Once you purchase the bundle you can equip any of the eight player cards as well as the gun buddy. In addition to the in-game celebrations, Rioters at the official Riot Games headquarters in Los Angeles will be participating in the West Hollywood Pride Parade.

Rioters in offices across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa will be holding a Virtual March for Pride from late June through August. The virtual event focuses on the physical, mental and social health of everyone participating in the event.
