Revenant Esports Wins The Esports Club Rise of Legion APAC South Season 1

Revenant Esports managed to win the event without placing first in a single match but the team was consistent and secured a high number of kills and placement points every game.

The Esports Club’s (TEC) Rise of Legion Apex Legends event has come to a close with Revenant Esports winning the event. While a lot of fans were excited to see Reignite, the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) playoffs champion, win the event the team came third after ending up with the same number of points as Team Burger in the second and third spots.

Rise of Legion APAC South Season 1 Grand Finals Recap

Day two of the grand finals came down to the very last match with four teams being in contention to secure the championship. EXO Clan and Team Burger were eliminated early in the 12th and final match, which left Reignite and Revenant being the last two teams to stay in contention for the championship. Noyan "Genburten" Ozkose of Reignite pulled off a fantastic play as his team was crumbling and became the kill leader, but it was not enough as the team ended up placing third .

Team Burger and Reignite both earned 105 points but Team Burger will be receiving the 2nd place prize money as it had higher placement points. Revenant Esports ended up securing the championship despite not winning a single match out of the 12 games it played. The team secured high placement points in almost all the games and wiped out two squads on an average throughout the grand finals to secure the win at the event.

Rise of Legion - Season 1 Standings

Revenant Esports will be taking home $5,000 USD out of the $10,000 USD prize pool. Team Burger will be taking home $3,000, Reignite secured $1,500 while Dewa United Esports will take home $500.

The event brought together teams from South Asia and Southeast Asia and it helped a number of amateur teams test their mettle against the best in APAC (Asia Pacific) South, which is one of the strongest regions in all of Apex Legends esports.

Some of the teams that participated in the event will also compete for the first-ever Apex Legends world championship next month and fans are excited to see if APAC South can come out on top as the best region in Apex Legends esports this year.
