With the Valorant Champions Tour 2023 (VCT 2023) on the horizon, plenty of Indian Valorant teams are shuffling their rosters to become the best team in the competition. Revenant Esports is one of the organizations that has been making quite a few changes recently to be the best Valorant team. The organization recently announced on its social media handles that it had signed the former True Rippers Esports’ former pro Valorant player Sahil “1TaPGoD” Duble to its roster. From now on, 1TapGoD will be playing under the banner of Revenant Esports for all the upcoming Valorant tournaments, including the VCT 2023.
1TapGoD to play under the banner of Revenant Esports in VCT 2023
1TaPGoD is an 18-year-old professional Valorant player who has made a name for himself in the Indian Valorant circuit at such a young age. Although he has not won any accolades, he has shown consistent performance throughout his career. His neat aim and incredible game sense at such a young age have attracted many eyes from the Valorant community.
Revenant Esports entered Valorant esports in March 2022. The team has shown incredible performance in its short stint and achieved good ranks in tournaments. However, the team is yet to win any major tournament. In October 2022, Jay “BADlove” Patil left Revenant Esports to join Reckoning Esports. This transfer left Revenant Esports with only four players on the roster and created a void. To fill the void, Revenant Esports added two Filipino players, Enrico “Ching” Perez and Joshua “JoshS” Miles Santos, to its Valorant roster in November 2022. With the addition of these two players, the team had six players on its roster. Finally, with the recent acquisition of 1TaPGod, Revenant Esports now has seven players on its roster.
Following are all the seven pro Valorant players for Revenant Esports.
Saaransh “Whimp” Dang – In-game leader (IGL)
Arnav "Logistaa" Jit Kalra
Shailesh “blackhawk” Dalvi
Kasif “Paradox” Sayyed
Ching
JoshS
1TapGod
With the addition of these three new players, Revenant Esports will now give its best to win the VCT 2023 Ascension tournament. However, the organization has not yet revealed which five players will be playing in the main Valorant roster and which two players will be benched. On the other hand, Riot Games has not yet revealed the complete schedule for VCT 2023. Hence, the organization will have ample time to make further decisions and required changes to its roster.
