Moonton in partnership with ONE Esports announced the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational 2021 (MPLI 2021).
The tournament is scheduled to be held on 2nd Nov 2021 at 1 PM (GMT +8) and will be broadcasted live through various streaming platforms in four different languages.
The MPLI 2021 will feature 20 invited MPL teams from across the Southeast Asian region to compete for the lion’s share of the $100,000 USD prize pool.

The One Esports’ MPL (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League) Invitational 2021 will feature the 20 invited MPL teams from across the Southeast Asian region to compete for the lion’s share of the $100,000 USD prize pool. This year’s MPLI 2021 will feature a unique format called the Captain’s Draft which will take place on 31st October at 7 PM (GMT +8).

The top 20 MPL teams from SEA will compete in the ONE Esports’ MPL Invitational 2021

The highly anticipated annual esports event - the MPL Invitational 2021 will soon kick off featuring the top teams from all over the SEA (Southeast Asia) region competing for the lion’s share of the $100,000 USD prize pool.

This year’s MPLI 2021 will feature a unique tournament format called Captain’s Draft to determine the first-round bracket. The MPL champions from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Singapore will immediately book their ticket to the quarterfinals and each will be drafted into one of the four groups. The champions will also pick their opponents by drafting the remaining teams into their brackets through a lottery-style draw.

The drafting phase will take place on 31st October at 7 PM (GMT +8) through a live broadcast. The livestream will be hosted by the Indonesian gaming personalities Rachael “aeterna,” and MPL Indonesia Shoutcaster Mirko, who clinched the title of Best Junior Caster during the MPL ID (Indonesia) Season 7.

The official match will kick off on 2nd November at 1 PM (GMT+8) leading to the grand finale on 7th Nov 2021.

Last year, the Indonesian team Alter Ego swept through the competition and won the championship title at the MPLI 2020. It will be interesting to see who will take the crown this time around in the upcoming MPLI 2021.
