Music Festival Sunburn Enters Esports With Valorant India Invitational 2022

The organizer of Valorant India Invitational 2022, Galaxy Racer, has joined hands with Asia's largest music festival, Sunburn, to present a unique blend of esports and music to the Indian audience.

According to Galaxy Racer, this is the first time ever that such a collaboration between an esports tournament and a music festival has been done in India, with both events coming together at the GXR Arena in Hyderabad, India.

"Sunburn is one of the largest music festivals in the world and this association with Galaxy Racer is their very first venture in the Esports industry," reads a statement provided in a press release.

The Valorant India Invitational 2022 will be taking place over the course of three days from 18^th to 20^th November while the Sunburn Arena ft. DJ Snake is scheduled to take place on 20^th November.

The Valorant India Invitational 2022 will be hosting some of the best local and international teams, fighting for a total prize pool of $100,000 USD in front of a live audience in Hyderabad.

All eight teams for the tournament have been locked in and tickets for the event are also live. However, the biggest announcement so far comes in the shape of a distinct collaboration between Galaxy Racer and Sunburn, who have come on board as the official venue partner for the event.

This is a unique blend of esports and music, so organizers have taken care of the fact that attendees are provided with the option of purchasing ticket for just the Valorant tournament or both the tournament and Sunburn.

"Music and gaming are two core components that have an immense influence on GenZ and since merging them has yielded huge success globally, we wanted to en-cash the untapped opportunity in India. On top of all this, an exclusive music video of the Valorant India Invitational 2022 will be revealed on the final day of the tournament, culminating with well-known DJ Snake curating some breathtaking music on the night of the Sunburn.
