Made in Thailand (MiTH) defeated Velocity Gaming (VLT) in the first match of the Skyesports SEA Championship. Both the teams showed an outstanding performance, but MiTH triumphed in the first two matches of the best-of-three (Bo3) to win the match. In the second match of the tournament, Bleed Esports (BLD) defeated GodSquad (GS) with a 13-7 scoreline. GodSquad showed a pretty mediocre performance throughout both maps.

As the matches are being played in a double elimination bracket, the winning teams will now move forward to the Upper Bracket Final of the tournament. On the other hand, the losing teams will move to the Lower Bracket Semifinal and will be eliminated from the tournament if they lose another match.

Map no. 1: Fracture

MiTH had a great start in the first map as attackers. The team won six straight rounds at the start before Velocity Gaming could secure its first round. Although Velocity Gaming performed well, MiTH managed to secure eight rounds in the first half, leading to a scoreline of MiTH 8-4 Velocity Gaming.

MiTH maintained its consistency in the second half as defenders and Velocity Gaming could not keep up with the lead MiTH created in the first half. As a result, MiTH won the first map with a 13-8 scoreline.

Map no. 2: Breeze

Unlike the previous map, Velocity Gaming showed an impressive performance as defenders at the start of the second map. It won four straight rounds at the start of the second map. However, Velocity Gaming failed to maintain its consistency and lost the lead it created, leading to a scoreline of 6-6 in the first half.

MITH made a comeback in the second half and showed an exceptional performance. The team won seven straight rounds without losing a single round, leading to victory with a scoreline of MiTH 13-6 Velocity Gaming.

Match 2: GodSquad vs. Bleed Esports

GodSquad showed good performance as defenders at the start of the first half, but it started to fall apart by the end of it. Bleed Esports capitalized on the situation and created a lead of four rounds in the first half, leading to a scoreline of Bleed Esports 8-4 GodSquad.

Bleed Esports maintained its consistency in the second half as defenders and did not lose a single round, leading to a scoreline of Bleed Esports 13-4 GodSquad.

Map no. 2: Haven

Bleed Esports showed an impressive performance as defenders at the start of the first half of the match. However, GodSquad made a small comeback and ended the first half with a scoreline of GodSquad 5-7 Bleed Esports.

Bleed Esports showed an incredible performance throughout the second half as attackers and lost only two rounds. Bleed Esports won the match with a scoreline of Bleed Esports 13- 7 Godsquad.

Skyesports SEA Championship is one of the Valorant Off//Season tournaments for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The tournament boasts a massive prize pool of $22,500 USD (INR 18,42,059). The following four teams have already qualified for the event via respective qualifiers.

  • God Squad (India) - IN Qualifier

  • Velocity Gaming (India) - IN Qualifier

  • Bleed Esports (Singapore) - Southeast Asia (SEA) Qualifier

  • Made in Thailand (Thailand) - SEA Qualifier

The winner will walk away with $15,000 (INR 12,28,005), while the runner-up will secure $6,500 (INR 5,32,135) in prize winnings. On the other hand, $500 (INR 40,943) is reserved for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Most Valuable Leader (MVL) each.
