Highlights
League of Legends Patch 11.21 is set to release on 20th October 2021 with much-needed nerfs to Miss Fortune.
The patch is expected to be available on the public beta environment (PBE) later this week.
Riot Games had promised changes to solo queue champions and we will finally see buffs to Lux, Xayah, Jinx, Sion, and Teemo.

Riot Games is preparing a host of balance changes for League of Legends that are expected to hit the live servers once Worlds 2021 ends. The League of Legends 2021 ranked season is expected to end sometime around 16th Nov 2021 and Riot Games is set to introduce some last moment changes on 20th October 2021 to balance the ranked meta. Worlds 2021 will not be affected by the balance changes as the teams are playing on an older patch.

Riot has compiled a list of changes that will be coming to the pre-season with fan favorite champions like Miss Fortune, Akshan and Graves set to receive nerfs. The developers are focusing on buffing solo queue champions in the next patch with champions like Viego and Sion set to receive buffs next month.

Controversial LoL champion Viego to receive buffs in patch 11.21

The League of Legends patch 11.21 will see the Ruined King Viego receive some buffs to his kit. At launch, he was one of the most oppressive champions in the game and he had to be nerfed multiple times. With the meta settling down, Riot is planning to restore some of his former power. Other champions who will be receiving buffs next month include Lux, Xayah, Jinx, Sion and Teemo.

Miss Fortune is undoubtedly one of the most prevalent champions in Worlds 2021 and her potency in solo queue ranked games is also a point of concern for the community. She will be receiving some much needed nerfs to her kit alongside Akshan, Quinn, Karthus and Graves.

Runestone and Item Changes

Ingenious Hunter and Health Rune Stat Shard are set to receive some much-needed buffs to make them usable again. Among keystones, the Conqueror and Guardian are being nerfed while Goredrinker is the only item that will see a nerf.

Stridebreaker is set to receive “adjustments” but Riot Games has not revealed the nature of the changes just yet. Patch 11.21’s official launch on the live servers is on 20th October 2021, we can expect the patch to be available in the public beta environment (PBE) later this week.
