Highlights
Mazino, Keznit, and Delz1k competed with KRÜ Esports since early 2021.
The team had qualified for every international VCT event to date but its results at those events were inconsistent.
The team has transfer options open from North America and Latin America as well as one transfer slot from other regions.

Latin America’s most successful Valorant team KRÜ Esports has released Roberto Francisco “Mazino” Rivas Bugueño, Joaquín Ignacio “delz1k” Espinoza Soto, and Angelo “keznit” Mori ahead of the 2023 competitive season. The trio has been a part of KRÜ Esports since 2021 and has helped the organization make it to every single international Valorant Champions Tour event in history and had played a pivotal role in securing a Top 4 finish in the Valorant Champions 2021.

Why did KRÜ Esports let go of its key players?

KRÜ Esports had several first-place finishes in Latin America’s (LATAM) Challengers events and the team always made it to international events on every occasion. However, the team’s results were wildly inconsistent. The team had a dream run during the world championship in 2021 and were fan favorites for many to win the event, but the team ultimately fell short.

In the Valorant Champions 2022, the team did not find the same level of success and was eliminated in the group stages and hence did not compete in the playoffs. With these roster changes, the team will have the chance to bolster its roster with other players from the region and can even import a player ahead of the transfer window deadline.

Nicolas “Klaus” Ferrari and Juan Pablo “NagZ” Lopez will continue to be part of the roster. Both players have delivered consistent results even when the team failed to deliver on the international stage.

With KRÜ Esports competing in the Americas international league, the team has access to players from North America as well as Latin America. The transfer pool available to the team is massive and the team has the opportunity to make some high-profile signings before the transfer window closes on 15th October. With less than two weeks to go until transfers are approved and confirmed, we can expect news from the team very soon.
