It was leaked that a PlayStation-exclusive alpha will be available from 27 to 29 August. The leaked store listing suggests that the alpha will be available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 users only and an open beta for all platforms is expected to be available on a later date. According to the listing’s name it is possible that only the Champion Hill mode will be available as part of the alpha. The new game mode will allow teams of two to compete against each other in closed-quarter maps. Activision revealed that the Champion Hill mode will feature eight teams of two.
