Global Esports is one of the oldest esports organizations in India, and has represented the country multiple times on the international stage. However, its biggest deal came whenRiot Games selected it as the sole Indian esports organization amongst 30 Valorant franchise teams With the recent development, the organization plans to expand its territory and build better facilities for its players in India. In a recent live stream, the founder and CEO of Global Esports, Rushindra Sinha, revealed the organization’s future plans. He stated that the organization plans to build a 12-Storey in Khar, Mumbai.

The founder reveals Global Esports’ plan to build a GE Headquarter

In a recent livestream, Sinha revealed that Global Esports owns about 25,000 square feet of land in Khar, Mumbai, where the organization plans to build GE Headquarter in the future.

Pointing towards the road behind him, Sinha said, “Exactly, the place where I just went, to the end of that road, that entire piece of land is owned by us. It is somewhere about 20000-25,000 square feet.” Further, he added, “we plan to build GE Headquarter at that place. It’s in the middle of Khar (in Mumbai), parallel to SV Road, and about 25,000 square feet. So, we plan to build a big GE tower over there soon.”

He later mentioned that the organization plans to have its training facility, boot camp, studio, content house, and all other essentials for an esports organization in one tower.

“Our goal is to have our entire – training facility, boot camp, studio, content house, everything in one place. One tower, imagine like ten floors just dedicated to the GE tower in the middle of Bombay, literally like the heart of Bombay.”

Following this, he mentioned that the project would be costly and the organization would start working on it next year, but it would surely happen. “The project is going to be very expensive, so we are going to work on it next year, not this year. Because it is not going to be easy to build a ten-floor dedicated building in Mumbai, it is going to be very, very, very, very expensive, but it will happen. It’s on the agenda,” he said

He further corrected himself and said the building would have 12 floors, not ten.

“Actually, it will be 12 floors, not even ten. The entire building will be 12 floors, and the entire building will be the GE tower.”

Rushindra Sinha reveals Global Esports’ future plans

Following this, he mentions that GE has a lot of ambitious plans. Besides the GE Headquarter, the organization is planning to build another boot camp in Kharghar and a full-fledged arena.

“We have a lot of ambitious plans, not only this one. We also plan to build another boot camp in the outskirts of Mumbai, in Kharghar. We also plan to build a full-fledged arena in the same place. Our plans are very ambitious; we are just getting started.”

Later, he states that the organization has been learning, growing, and figuring out how it can work and scale in the esports ecosystem for the last five years. He added that it has finally understood the direction the organization will go, where it will scale, and how.

“We have now finally understood the direction we are going to go in and where we will scale and how. So, the real game and real fun begin now. Our journey, technically, starts now because, for the last five years, we were learning, growing, and figuring out how we can really work and scale in the esports ecosystem.”

Finally, he shared his future plans, like having a minimum of 30,000 to 40,000 square feet of Global Esports in Mumbai, and ideally 50,000 square feet.

“We had to pause a lot of things because of the lockdown. Now, as things have opened up and we have a lot more opportunities to execute all those things that we have planned, it will be really fun. By 2025, we aim to have a minimum of 30,000 to 40,000 square feet of Global Esports in Mumbai. That’s the minimum we want in the next 2-3 years. The ideal would be 50,000 square feet.”
