In an epic crossover that has left fans buzzing with excitement, Fortnite and Futurama come together on Fortnite’s Chapter 4 Season 3’s island. The beloved series Futurama is celebrating its comeback to television by introducing its characters to the exciting world of Fortnite. The crossover launched on 26th July, 2023 and was announced via Fortnite’s official YouTube channel.
Fortnite, known for its impressive crossovers with popular franchises, introduces three interesting characters from Futurama. Fan-favorite characters Philip, Leela and Bender, are available as playable skins and can be found in the Item Shop. The new Futurama Bundle, which can be availed for 2800 Vindertech-Bucks (V-Bucks), features these new skins and other cosmetic items like Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun.

The Futurama x Fortnite collaboration is also set to introduce a new weapon - Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun. It is a new addition to the item shop and is a mythological weapon containing an infinite amount of plasma. It never runs out of ammo, but it does overheat after a while. You can collect the weapon through ground loot, or exchange it for Gold Bars through Bender.

Fans can also buy the outfits collectively for 2800 V-Bucks, as a part of the Futurama Bundle. And they can avail themselves of the pickaxe collection for 1800 V-Bucks through the Futurama Gear Bundle.
Other weapons in the V25.20 patch include the Mammoth Pistol, a large-caliber, single-shot pistol that makes use of heavy ammo; the Pistol Recycle Reality Augment, the Desperate Reload Reality Augment and the Lever Action Shotgun. The Scoped Salvo also makes a debut in this update, which adds increased damage to your scoped weapons, but a decreased fire rate.
While the collaboration does not offer any free rewards or quests, it is no denying that this partnership has definitely altered the Fortnite experience.
