Full Sense vs Velocity Gaming Recap

Map 1 - Haven (Full Sense won 14-12)

Velocity Gaming chose Haven as its first pick and suffered a closely fought 14-12 defeat. The “9-3” curse struck the South Asian team with the squad looking comfortable after securing a 9-3 lead in the first half. But as soon as the second half kicked off, Full Sense was in control of the game and did not offer Velocity any breathing room. The Thai team turned the game around and ended the match with a 14-12 scoreline.

Map 2 - Split (Full Sense won 13-3)

Full Sense had their map pick in the second map and it chose to compete on Split. The first half ended with the team securing a dominant 9-3 lead and it closed things off with a quick 4-0 in the second half.

Chanawin “JohnOlsen” Nakchain put on quite the showing with 50 eliminations to his name. The player was one of the standout Southeast Asian players on the international stage last year and he continues to put on solid performances in this year’s Valorant Champions Tour. Full Sense will be heading into the playoffs next week while Velocity Gaming is on the brink of elimination.

Velocity Gaming is the only South Asian team left at the event and it will need to secure a win against South Built Esports if it wants to keep its Masters Stage One dreams alive. The group stage matches will end with the playoffs set to commence on 25th March 2022. The top two teams at the event will earn spots at Valorant Masters One later this year.
