In the heart of Fortnite's ever-evolving universe, a cataclysmic happening known as The Big Bang event is set to change the game forever. It is one of the most hyped in-game events in Fortnite and it will not only introduce new gameplay mechanics, but also a concert by Marshall Mathers aka Eminem. Here is a quick rundown of everything you can expect from the Big Bang event in Fortnite.

When is the Fortnite Big Bang Event taking place?

The Fortnite Big Bang event will take place on 2nd December at 2 PM Eastern Time (3rd December at 12.30 AM Indian Standard Time). The experience will be available in the Battle Royale title in ‘Discover,’ 30 minutes prior, so you can jump in before the event starts to gear up with any of your cosmetics.

What to expect from the Big Bang event

Players can party up and experience the Big Bang happen live in up to a party of four in-game. There will be an event icon in-game that you can use to join.

Fortnite X Eminem

With the island's fate hanging precariously, The Seven have devised a daring plan: harness the immense power of the Zero Point, a mysterious artifact imbued with cosmic energy, to seal the rift and reshape reality itself. Alongside them will stand Eminem, the iconic rapper, who will help usher in the new era of Fortnite.

The Big Bang will reshape Fortnite’s island and introduce new mechanics, game modes and other content. Participating in the live event will reward players with a limited-time loading screen.

The game will also introduce Rap Boy, Slim Shady, and Marshall Never More Outfits (and matching accessories) in the item shop starting 29th November. There are leaks suggesting that Eminem will host a live concert, but there is no official confirmation yet.

Content creators in the Support-A-Creator (SAC) program will be able to host VOD content from The Big Bang event on YouTube and monetize it for seven days, and no takedown notifications in case you want to create content around the event.
