Esportz Premier Series 2022 Grand Finale - Valorant is scheduled to take place from 3rd to 6th January in Mumbai.

The competitive season is starting early in India with the upcoming Esportz Premier Series 2022 scheduled to take place from 3rd to 6th January at the OPAL Convention Center in Borivali, Mumbai.

This will be the first LAN tournament of 2023 and will mark the end of a year long competition which started in 2022, with multiple qualifiers across five titles being held over the span of the last 12 months, finally culminating with the Grand Finale.

Valorant is one of the titles which is part of the Esportz Premier Series 2022 Grand Finale and here is everything you need to know about this competition.

Five champions across different gaming titles will be crowned at the upcoming Esports Premier Series 2022 Grand Finale, which will take place across four days, out of which the last two days will be played on LAN in front of a live audience.

Qualified Teams

A total of four qualifiers were held for Valorant throughout 2022 and six teams were shortlisted to compete in the grand final which would take place over the course of the next four days.

The four qualified teams are as follows,

  1. Lethal Esports - Qualifier #1

  2. Revenant Esports - Qualifier #2

  3. Ohh Bey - Qualifier #3

  4. ROG Academy - Qualifier #3

  5. Gods Reign - Qualifier #4

  6. Reckoning Esports - Qualifier #4

Initially, Team Snakes from Pakistan had qualified for the tournament via the third open qualifier, but it has been replaced by ROG Academy which stood fourth in that particular qualifier.

Note: Enigma Gaming has been replaced by Ohh Bey as the former has disbanded its Valorant roster.

Results and Schedule

The event will be taking place on 5th and 6th January on LAN at the OPAL Convention Center, Mumbai, in front of a live audience.

Format

  • The Valorant event will be completely taking place on LAN in Mumbai during the last two days of the tournament.

  • Overall it will follow a single-elimination format where every match will be a best-of-three series.

  • The teams qualifying through the first two qualifiers will directly start from the semifinals - Lethal Esports and Revenant Esports, where as the remaining four teams will fight through the quarterfinals.

  • Last team that remains standing will be crowned as the champion while also walking away with lion's share of the total prize pool.

  • An influencer showmatch will also be played as part of this event, featuring some of the top creators and personalities from India, taking on each other in a best-of-one series.

Prize Pool

This tournament features a total prize pool of INR 5,00,000 ($6,054 USD) which will be split between the top four teams based on their overall placement.

Livestream

The tournament will be broadcasted live exclusively on the official YouTube channel of Esportz.in featuring talents like Subodh "Gamezo" Panwar, Star Tania, Aurobindo "Auro" Dey, and Sandeep "Insane Arena" Panchpal.

According to Esportz.in, more than 15000 players and 2000 teams had participated across 18 open qualifiers that were held throughout 2022, attracting over 11 million online gamers. It will be interesting to see how the Grand Finale turns out, which will also be the first LAN event of the year for the country.
