Global Esports and Enigma Gaming will compete in the APAC Playoffs Stage 2 play-ins starting next week.
The top two teams at APAC Challengers will make it to Valorant Masters 2 later this year.
If either of the South Asian teams makes it to Masters, it will be the region’s first entry in a VCT LAN event.

Enigma Gaming and Global Esports made it to the grand final of the Skyesports Champions Series (SCS), which means that both teams will be representing the South Asian region at APAC Challengers 2. Later this month, the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Playoffs for Stage 2 of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) will begin.

Over the past week, six teams across South Asia have been competing in the Skyesports Champions Series for a chance to play at the upcoming VCT APAC Challengers 2 event featuring some of the best teams in the region. The two top teams from the APAC Playoffs Stage 2 will be given a direct invitation to represent the APAC region at Masters 2.

Enigma Gaming and Global Esports will go up against 18 other teams from Southeast Asia

Global Esports and Enigma Gaming will compete against the best teams from Southeast Asia starting 9th June. The teams will compete in the play-ins from 9th to 12th June to qualify for the Group Stage which will take place from 15th to 20th June. The knockout stages will commence on 23rd June and the top two teams will head to Valorant Masters 2 later this year.

  • South Asia - Global Esports, Enigma Gaming

  • Thailand - Xerxia, FW Esports, Made in Thailand

  • Philippines - Team Secret, Oasis Gaming, Rex Regum Qeon

  • Indonesia - Onic G, Alter Ego, Boom Esports

  • Vietnam - Fancy United Esports, Cerberus Esports, Team Big Baam

  • Singapore/Malaysia - Paper Rex, Gaimin Gladiators (Formerly Laze), Bleed Esports

Global Esports has been to last year’s APAC last Chance Qualifiers but it could not make it to Champions. In Stage One, the team had qualified for APAC Challengers via NODWIN Gaming’s Valorant Conquerors Championship but it could not make it to Masters 1 after an early exit. Enigma Gaming on the other hand will be competing in its first international VCT event.

The South Asian region is yet to see a representative make it to a VCT LAN event. It is an excellent opportunity for both teams to establish South Asia's presence on the global stage, and they will be aiming to play their best to make the region proud.
