DAMWON Gaming is on its way to round three of the lower bracket in the VCT APAC LCQ after a win against BOOM Esports.
The South Korean team secured a comfortable 2-0 victory against BOOM with Kang “iNTRO” Seung-gyun and Kim "t3xture" Na-ra being standout performers tonight.
The team suffered an early loss against Global Esports but it has managed to bounce back and has won all of its last four games in its progress through the lower bracket.

After suffering an early upset at the hands of Global Esports at the VCT (Valorant Champions Tour) APAC (Asia Pacific) LCQ (Last Chance Qualifiers), DAMWON Gaming is pulling off quite the turnaround by knocking out two teams and keeping its hope up for winning the event. The team put on a dominant performance today and will be going up against Paper Rex tomorrow.

DAMWON Gaming vs BOOM Esports Recap

Game 1 (DAMWON won 13-4)

DAMWON Gaming secured a comfortable 13-4 victory on Bind with Kim "t3xture" Na-ra being the MVP of the series once again. BOOM Esports was unable to keep up with the pressure applied by DAMWON’s Duelists throughout the game, leading it to be a very one-sided affair.

Game 2 (DAMWON won 13-9)

BOOM Esports put on a tougher fight in the second game of the series with its Duelist Saibani “fl1pzjder” Rahmad putting up a solid performance throughout the game. Unfortunately, DAMWON got the better of them and the Indonesian team will be heading out of the event.

BOOM Esports has gone through a number of roster changes over the last two months and the team will be looking to solidify its teamwork for the next season of the Valorant Champions Tour. DAMWON Gaming will be heading into the next round of the lower bracket against Paper Rex, which is one of top teams at the event.

DAMWON Gaming vs BOOM Esports Highlights

DAMWON’s Kim "t3xture" Na-ra is proving to be one of the best performing players at the event. He is currently ranked fourth in the event in terms of Average Combat Score. The Jett player has been very consistent and he might just be the make or break factor for his team's game against Paper Rex tomorrow.

T3xture’s teammate Kang “iNTRO” Seung-gyun has also been a consistent performer today with 37 kills raked in by his Viper and Cypher plays. The Korean team seems to have recuperated after its round one loss against Indian esports team Global Esports and will be looking to make its way to the grand finals.
