Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6’s roadmap was officially released by Activision and it looks like players will soon get access to a brand-new event after the new season launches. The upcoming season will be available starting 7th October and the first event will commence on 19th October with exclusive rewards. The new season will see mysterious bunkers being added throughout Warzone’s in-game terrain and there are some new locations to explore as well. Two new operators and five new weapons are being added as part of Warzone Season 6. Here is everything you need to know about the next season.

Content updates in Warzone Season 6

Warzone Season 6 will feature Alex Mason and Fuze. Mason will be added as part of the battle pass while Fuze will be added later in the season. There will also be a Halloween event which will kick off on 19th October and it will continue till 2nd November.

Warzone Season 6 Roadmap

There will be five new weapons and while details have not been revealed yet, Activision stated in the official announcement that there will be a “lever-action Shotgun and a reliable Assault Rifle within the Battle Pass system, in addition to a deadly new melee weapon earned via challenge, all available on day one of Season Six. During the season, expect to earn a unique SMG and a set of dual-wield melee tools.”

Gameplay Updates in Warzone Season 6

New Points of Interest (POIs): There are new fissures in Stadium and Downtown. New and mysterious bunkers from the World War II era are also being added to the game.

Clan System: The new season will feature a new clan system (Regiment Roster) to help players find likeminded players and play together. After 6th October, you will only be able to view your Regiment Roster and inspect players. You will not be able to create, manage, switch, or invite people to your Regiment, use Regiment Tags, or receive Happy Hour rewards after this date.

If you are in multiple Regiments, you have until October 5 to ensure that you are “Active” in the one you wish to stay in through Vanguard’s launch on November 5.

New Gulag: An older 1v1 combat arena is being re-introduced but no additional details have been revealed yet. Season Six’s Gulag is inspired by the original trio of 1v1 maps within the Verdansk of 2019, and based on the Modern Warfare Gunfight map variant. This takes place in an undisclosed and sectioned-off level of the deep Zordaya Prison Complex.

When is Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 launching?

Call of Duty Warzone: Season 6 is set to release on 7th October, 2021. Pre-loads will be available for Black Ops Cold War on 5th October and Warzone on 6th October.
