Latest leaks suggest that Call of Duty: Vanguard will have three different editions available for purchase.
The Ultimate edition of Call of Duty: Vanguard will offer bonus operator skins, bonus weapons, XP boosts and other cosmetics.
Ultimate edition owners will also receive early access to the open beta when it is available.

While Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Vanguard is in the works, the publisher has kept the game under wraps with the exception of a couple teasers that were shown recently. However, leakers seem to have gotten their hands on the official artwork for Call of Duty: Vanguard. The images were reportedly found within the game files of Black Ops Cold War, and they suggest that there will be three editions of Vanguard available for purchase sometime in the near future. Soon after the images were posted, they started being removed due to copyright takedowns by Activision.

Three versions of Call of Duty: Vanguard will be available for purchase

The leaked images of the cover art was posted by Call of Duty leaker group Cheezburgerboyz. The images indicate that there will be three editions for sale, including an Ultimate edition, which will include bonuses for all players who purchase it.

According to the leaked images, pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition of the game will offer early access to the open beta, similar to other recent Call of Duty titles. There will also be bonus operator skins up for grabs, bonus weapons, XP boosts and more.

Even though the images are being taken down due to copyright claims by Activision, there is no official confirmation that the content shown off in the images is indicative of the final product. With Call of Duty: Vanguard not being officially announced yet, things are subject to change.

When is Call of Duty: Vanguard coming out

Last week, the official Call of Duty Twitter account posted an image of an upcoming operator which will be available in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. Keen-eyed members of the community quickly noticed that the text near the right edge of the screen can be decoded to "Vangaado kitaru”. The term loosely translates to “Vanguard is coming”, indicating that Call of Duty’s next game is coming soon.

Every Call of Duty game except Black Ops 4 has released in November and it is unlikely that Activision will stray from its tried and tested release model of releasing its biggest title right before the holiday season. However, the ongoing pandemic can potentially affect the release date and there is no official release date available.

Activision is issuing copyright take down notices for the images, so tweets with the leaked images may be removed. AFK Gaming is not currently hosting any of the leaked images on our website.

The cover image in the article is from Call of Duty: World War II and not Call of Duty: Vanguard.
