Bren Esports Part Ways With its Valorant Lineup

The Philippines based organization Bren Esports and its Valorant lineup has officially parted ways with each other. On 8^th September, Bren Esports via its official Facebook page made the announcement that its Filipino Valorant team " has decided to explore and review other possible opportunities". Respecting this decision apparently taken by the players, Bren Esports has let go of the lineup while wishing them the best for the road ahead.

The team after missing out on an opportunity to compete at the upcoming VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin due to COVID-19 related travel restrictions, has now decided to carve their own path with players scouting for opportunities.

Bren Esports and its Filipino Valorant lineup part ways

Bren Esports dominated the Southeast Asian Playoffs, where they defeated Paper Rex in the finals by a '3-0' scoreline to become the top-seed team from the region who qualified for the Berlin Masters. They were poised to go up against international Valorant teams Sentinels, G2 Esports, and F4Q as part of Group-D.

Unfortunately, the travel restrictions imposed by Philippines due to COVID-19 proved to be an immovable obstacle in the team's path. Despite Riot Games, Bren Esports, and the players themselves trying their best, they failed to attain the necessary permits in a timely manner which resulted in an automatic disqualification from the tournament.

This was really disappointing for the organization, its fans, and all the supporters who were backing them up as the top-seeded SEA representatives.

Now, just a week after this announcement the players have decided to part ways with the Filipino esports organization, as they look to explore and review other possible opportunities that lie ahead.

As per the rules, the circuit points that the lineup had attained under the banner of Bren Esports will remain with the players if at least three of them sign to the same organization. The same has been reiterated by Alex Archambault - Project Manager at Riot Games, who is currently the lead for Valorant esports in the SEA region.

Bren Esports are currently placed second on the VCT 2021 - Southeast Asia Circuit Point Standings with a total of 225 points to their name, sharing the spot with Paper Rex while X10 Esports leads with a a total of 295 points to their name.
