A gameplay video of Assassin’s Creed’s upcoming mobile title, codenamed Jade, has been leaked on multiple social media platforms. Although the video has been removed from most social media platforms, it is still available on Reddit. A Reddit user named dattuu posted a video spanning two minutes and 40 seconds, which appears to be the opening sequence of Assassin’s Creed Jade. The video shows a village attacked by invaders, and the protagonist combating multiple individuals.

First look at Assassin’s Creed Jade Gameplay

In September 2022, Ubisoft announced six new titles for its Assassin’s Creed game series at the Ubisoft Forward 2022. It also revealed that two of these titles would be released on mobile platforms. One of those two titles was codenamed Jade, an open-world Assassin’s Creed game set in Ancient China, which got an official trailer later.

As Jade will be the first console-like open-world Assassin’s Creed game made for mobile, it has created excitement in the Assassin’s Creed fanbase and the mobile gaming community. Furthermore, the latest gameplay leak has taken the hype to the next level.

This gameplay clip shows a village under attack by invaders and the protagonist rushing to protect it. This gameplay scene appears to be the game’s opening sequence as it shows various tutorial prompts for performing parkour and combating enemies.

The Reddit user mentioned that they found the video on Facebook, posted by a user named Tiger White. However, the video has been taken down from Facebook, but users can still watch it on the r/assassinscreed subreddit. Furthermore, the video has been uploaded on multiple YouTube channels as well.

Ubisoft did not reveal anything about Assassin’s Creed Jade. It did not reveal the expected release date of the beta trial date as well. However, in the leaked gameplay video, a prompt appears on the top side of the screen for almost a minute, reading, “This is an early version of the game and does not represent the final quality of the product.” Based on this, it appears that players have access to a beta version of the game, and someone has recorded and leaked a gameplay video on the internet.

Surprisingly enough, the gameplay appeared very stable, even though it mentioned that it was an early version of the game. As a result, if the video is from the beta version of the game, then the game’s official release might be closer than ever.
